 Nocatee has again reached the top ranks of Master Planned Communities in the U.S.
For the second year in a row, Nocatee ranks Number 3 among all Master Planned Communities (MPC) in the United States.

It's official -- Nocatee is again ranked the third best selling community in the entire United States. Nocatee new home sales are up 30 percent over 2014, selling 1,105 homes in 2015. Nocatee is now home to more than 4,000 households.

St. Johns County led the way in 2014 growth for new building permits.   The Northeast Florida Builders Association (NEFBA) recently reported that the number of building permits pulled in 2014 was the highest since 2007.  
  The strongest area for new building permits was South to St. Johns County, reflecting the heavy push to Durbin, Nocatee, Bartram and World Golf Village.
  Clearly, it's Nocatee that can take a lot of the credit, named the third best-selling master-planned community in the U.S in 2014.

Nocatee Home Sales increased 65% from 2012 to 2103.

The rising tide of great national press for Nocatee floats all of our boats here in the Jacksonville, St. Johns and Ponte Vedra real estate game. More good news this week, that the advisory firm RCLCO ranked Ponte Vedra’s Nocatee as number three in the nation for successful Master Planned Communities (MPC).

 

 Nocatee was the only MPC in the top 5 that actually posted an increase so far in 2014.

New home sales in Nocatee for the first half of 2014 are up 21 percent over 2013, making it the 3rd best-selling master-planned community in the nation. In fact, Nocatee was the only MPC in the top 5 that actually posted an increase, with 505 homes sold since the beginning of the year.

RiverTown in St. Johns County, off of SR 13, soon accessible from I-95  
Mattamy has recently completed its purchase of the RiverTown development from St. Joe Company.

It’s been the rap for RiverTown in St. Johns County that it is too far off the beaten path to attract as many Jacksonville and St. Augustine new home buyers as they would have liked. But how do you move a neighborhood?

Mattamy Homes (who has just concluded its RiverTown purchase from St. Joe Company) figured out it was mostly the long trek down State Road 13 that put most buyers off, as well as the distance between 1-95 and the community entrance on SR13. As the new owner/developer, Mattamy has decided to move the official RiverTown entrance road entrance to its eastern end, thus roughly cutting in half the 15 mile distance
